Hundreds of New Yorkers braved the cold weather on Wednesday (February 4) to collect a personal cash bailout from 'the Bailout Booth'. As multi-billion dollar rescue packages are being given to the financial industry and automakers, one website has decided to give away money to those struggling in the current economic climate. Some members of the general public walked away with 50 U.S. dollars (USD), others received as much as 100 USD. The catch? Just show up and share your story about why you need the extra cash. Presiding over the booth and handing out the free cash is a mysterious figure know as 'Bailout Bill'. (February 5, 2009)
