[CCTV: No Sound] Muhammet Dirlik was knocked down a flight of concrete steps by the vehicle after the driver swerved to avoid a dog in the road. The car then smashed into a shop window just a metre away. The boy is then seen picking himself up and running off, apparently unhurt. "I saw my son come towards me crying, but we were not aware he had been hit by the car," said his father, Ibrahim Dirlik. "We thought he was just scared by the crash. We only realised the next day that the car had hit my son." The incident was captured on CCTV in the town of Sanliurfa, Turkey. (June 24, 2009)
